2010 Masters Golf Tournament

Is everyone ready for the 2010 Masters Golf Tournament? I know I am. Not only is this the week of golf’s Super Bowl, but the tournament is even more popular this year with the return of Tiger Woods. Unless you have been living under a rock it has been almost impossible not to hear another story about the king of golf’s personal life, it seems as if daily. Which really got me to thinking about how I really feel about golf now.

We all know if golf had taken any sort of drop at all in popularity it has definitely bounced back with the most recent events taking place. Which again has me asking myself if this is really such a good thing for golf. Obviously from a monetary standpoint it has to be huge, but will we really ever look at golf the same again?

Speaking for myself I am not sure I will. Does it spike my interest again? Will I watch more golf now? Sure, but I am just saying that personally I will have a hard time ever looking at golf the same again. Is that fair to the other golfers that go home to their wife and family every night? Probably not.

But it is how I feel, and for now I can’t change that. Anyone out there feel the same?
