I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Looking at the new year just around the corner, one of my goals is to become more technical. Too often I shy away or totally avoid anything that looks too difficult. Especially if the task at hand threatens my comfort zone.

I don’t know about you but I always make up an excuse for myself. Something like “This is going to take too much time”, is one of my favorites. But anyway I am going to start holding myself accountable going forward, and ask for your support.

One task that I have been trying to accomplish is posting remotely to my blog. “Trying” is actually an insult to the word itself. It has been more of a “half ass” attempt to “getter done”.. lol. So anyway I was just sayin’..

If you have problems trying to post remotely to your blog, just complete the following steps:

1. go into your admin area
2. go under your “writing” settings
3. update your login/password information
4. Check boxes accordingly
   
5. save and your good to go.

I checked both boxes, not knowing for sure if that’s right, but it worked. I figure if I screw something up.. At least I gave “trying” a good name.. tonight anyway.

Just a quick note.. added a few hours after my initial post. I did screw up and wanted to pass it on in hopes of helping prevent others from doing the same thing. From your remote device (iphone, other computer, etc.) be sure your not adding a new page versus a new post. It was an easy fix but I did want to let you know just in case your not paying attention like I wasn’t..

So I guess the point is this. Let’s work together going into 2010 and overcome our fears, laziness, and procrastinations. Because all these bad habits do is prevent us from reaching or goals and ultimately our dreams.

Please hold me accountable too. Remember I speak from experience.
